[Dailydrool] hot dogs

Well, not the edible kind but the overheated ones.  We routinely get well 
over 110 degrees here in summer.  My dogs have summer and winter schedules. 
Winter it's play during day and snuggle with mom all night under the covers. 
Summer it's lay around in front of fans etc and then go out and play at 
night.  They do tolerate heat quite well but they tend to slow down a lot 
more.  Newman will seek out shade when he's hot and if he can't find shade 
and we are near the lake he will just walk in up to his shoulders then goes 
back a bit shallower and lays in it.
I think they are just so much smarter than we are...really!!
