[Dailydrool] Cletus and acl? or pano?

Before you go to the extreme expense and trauma of surgery on Cletus' leg,  I 
would first of all be sure that your vet understands about Basset  Hounds.  
Then I would get a second opinion.  After that, I would try  giving him double 
doses of glusomine and chondroitin for at least a week. (Usual  dose is 1500 
mg of each per day)
 
Then, if he is not better, I would consider doing something more  drastic.
 
The age of 2 is a little old for Pano, but not impossible.
