[Dailydrool] Clara's weight

Just recently I'd noticed Younger Clara had been putting on weight, not a lot, just enough to round her out a little, cover her ribs a little more.
I was surprised as I am hyper careful about keeping them both slim - particularly since Clara started agility and because Rolph has joint problems. Both these making extra weight undesirable.
I cut back her food a little, cut down on her treats -  but still she kept that little "extra".
I remembered I was told she might fill out a bit after being spayed - but that was in February. Maybe, I thought, it was the extra treats she gets at agility classes, so I cut the chunks smaller and cut back her food a bit more.
She was still rounding, in fact, if anything even more than before.
Last night I left the kitchen door open after I put their bowls down - and saw Clara swallow her nosh, then join Rolph at his muffin tray (used because he eats so quickly)!

I think I know why she's putting on the weight . . . and why Rolph is always telling me how starving he is.

Poor Rolph!
