[Dailydrool] Torn Ligament

Well, Annie and Fred came through their procedures without any complications, but the x-rays showed that Annie has a torn ligament in her knee.? The vet wasn't in?so I have to call on Wednesday, but she did leave me a note that the ideal correction for this is surgery.? Of course it's not what I wanted to hear, but if I don't do it, it seems like (from what I've found online) that she will develop painful arthritis.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of injury/surgery??
