[Dailydrool] Frog/Toad question

There are poisonous species of frogs and toads. I don't know if any are common to the U.S., but I'd say to be on the safe side don't let him eat it.

Has anyone's hound ever eaten a frog or toad before?  If so, what happened?  I am asking for future reference, just in case.

Off and on over the past 2 months, Schroeder has been finding small toads in the yard.  They might be as big as a quarter to a half dollar.
Last night, I was with him when he sniffed it out and we played with it as the sun went down.  His nose was right on top of the poor thing.
Now, he didn't attempt to eat it, but I wouldn't put it past him to roll it around in his mouth and take a few crunches to see what it tastes like.

I am just being paranoid or do I have reason to worry?  Just thought I would ask.
