Oh Boy! Gettin dis TDX title goin be harder then I thot it wuld be!
MomPerson juss don't get it!

We goes to dis new place. It a Forest Preserve but dere a cop parkt dere so
MomPerson not feel dat she shuld be carryin a sawt off shottergun too.We met
she frend Susan wif a Belgian like Uncle Cooper Sir but cuter. Heh. Susan
done her trek firss, an she put markers out an ( we use closedpins wif
sirvayyour tape on em an clipem on plants. MomPerson dont fink I sees dem. I
just dont pay no tenshun oncet we goin.)
Emyways Susan markt her track reel good an her dog Lux done reel good eben
tho Susan dont think so. Den itmy turn, MomPerson had lait da track befour.
We gets outta da car I gets my vest an harniss an trekkin lead on an
MomPerson cant see her startin flag. now DUH!!! You GOTS to nose where ta
start.
So she lets me walker. I walker down a trail a way an turn into da tallgrass
an dere da fleg. Now whut she do if I not nose how to fine dat fleg? I
tellya. We still be out dere huffin and puffin thro da thorns lookin for dat
fleg. I be sittin in da car. Letter fine it hersef she cant eben keep trek
ob a bright red fleg!!!
Den we doin fine, gettin all da things she dropt, go inna woods, wander
round a bit here an there an Susan scream an go I STANDIN IN PISSIN IVORY!!!
MY ___ YOU LAID A TREK IN PISSIN IVORY!!!
I lookt but I not see nuffin. MomPerson say she neber had dis an didint eben
nose whut it look like. Susan went beke an sat in da car. She not heppy.
[MomPerson interjects that in all her years of stomping about the midwestern
countryside with horses and dogs she has never had poison ivy and honestly
does not know what it looks like.]

So Susan go beke and we goes on an MomPerson say we goes dis way to da
right. No we dont. Da nose say left. MomP say right. Nose say left.
MomPerson say ok, you say leff we go leff. Guess whose nose was right an
whose tiny liddel brain was wrong.
Found everything. Went through woods, weeds, thorns, over hills, ditsches
and grass an fond it all. Comin beke to da car juss for fun an sumthin to do
I tracked Susan beke to da car, heh heh. I loves trekkin. It make MomPerson
so heppy wiff me.
