Morse has always loved his morning walk, he couldn't wait to get out. Now, he is still keen - but there is a marked difference. When we get to the top our driveway, he stretches and plonks himself down. He then yawns, scratches and watches people go past, with the occasional thump thump of the tail. But he refuses to budge! In the end, as I am slowly turning blue with cold, I say 'Breakfast?' and he trots happily back down the drive. He is always keen as mustard for his afternoon\evening walk, but the morning is definitely a no-no at the moment. He has just turned 4. Is this just laziness?! Pumbaa was similar. We got him at the age of 7 and he would often trot to the back door, sniff the air and then hot-foot it back to his warm bed.
On a different note, we would like to extend a huge welcome to all the Droolers who have just joined DD and thoe who are back after a while away, it is good to see more people joining, and we look forward to hearing all the tales!
Our Senior Hounds calendar arrived yesterday, it is just beautiful!!! Definitely a must for all droolers.
And finally, our first Howliday card arrived today - yippeeeee! Am waiting for dad-slave to get home from work before we open it - but it is addressed to Morse & Pumbaa ATB - postman will be bemused - oh this is going to be such fun!
Frosty droolies to all.
Becky, Morse (brrrr, it be cold, I stayin in da warm) and Pumbaa ATB (I wud only gets up faw sossidges) X
