[Dailydrool] basset behavior

I had joined the Basset Behavior list because I thought it was going to be a
discussion of why Bassets do the things they do (because they are Bassets,
why else?) but it turns out to be Sara Watson holding forth on clicker
training. Yuk. Not my cup of teaquilla.

Purdue U has come up with some device to help dogs with hip dysplasia but I
don't know what it is. It is enough to make the national news, however.

I listen with vast amusement as our esteemed Gov. and his wifey are caught
red-handed and dirty, with Jesse Jackson Jr., being dragged, screaming and
kicking, into this fray. JJJr is my congressman. Or was. I suspect he will
slither out of the net, saying his aides offered all that money to Gov baby
for a senate seat. HO HO HO Merry Christmas, oh ye Politicos. Stockings full
of coal this year...
