I laughed at your story because I've experienced similar antics here with  
our pups.  Since they enter the house into the kitchen I do the same thing  and 
haul Ellie's 40 pound long body into the sink.  Her front half is in  one 
sink, while her back half is in the other and I use the sprayer to rinse her  off. 
 Its much easier than having to carry her upstairs to the bathroom!.
