[Dailydrool] My ex-husband, Roy Jenkins

Hi Droolers,

 

My ex-husband, Roy Jenkins, passed away yesterday evening surrounded by the
love of many family members.  I saw him a week ago today, and I could tell
he was getting close to the end of his struggle with cancer.  He wasn't
talking - just nodded his head in response to conversation.  I was able to
tell him how much I loved him, and how he would always be in my heart.

 

Roy is still getting a lot of cards and pictures from Droolers.  I just
can't express to all of you how much it has meant to me that a simple
posting here brought about so much support and prayers for Roy - and me.
Each and every card or picture he's received has been put on the wall in his
bedroom for him to see.  I know that he so appreciated the kind acts from
strangers on his behalf.

Thank you again for being such wonderful people.  Droolers are just THE BEST
