Yes it is gross but I was shocked one day when out in Banff National Park and they had this horse and ride service.
Well attached to the backend of the horse and its harness was a steel contraption with a ditch thing  at bottom
where the horse did his business. I at first was floored but that's life today
Life has changed so much and I'm not sure for the better. I guess it allows the horse to live and be needed
in today's world.
I love horses.
