[Dailydrool] In Memory of Kerstie

Four years ago on July 29 we had to send our sweet Kerstie to the  
Bridge. She had suffered from Cushings for several years but it was  
that awful lymphoma that ravaged her body in the end. As part of her  
Cushings maintenance she periodically had to have an ACTH stimulation  
test. One day we picked her up at the vets and she had pink vet wrap  
around her legs were she had given blood for her test. I always loved  
this picture of Kerstie and once I retired this spring I took a  
mosaics class. After finishing my class I set out on my own to  
memorialize Kerstie in glass. Slideshow link below

Tonight I light a candle in my new candle holder to honor Kerstie and  
all the countless other Drooler's furbabies that have left pawprints  
on our broken hearts and are waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge.  
Someday we will all be reunited.
