[Dailydrool] Nudgie's opinion on Brood events

I has an arf or two to say.......I LIKE BROOD EVENTS! I GET WET!

I shoulda been a Brood hound. The shelter that wanted to kill me and sent me to Tri-State was in Pennsylvania. They sent records that I'd been transferred from a Maryland shelter. Don't know why the second shelter took me since they wanted to kill me for being old...... I probably lived my first 8 or so years someplace in Maryland. Maybe that is why I perk up when I go to Brood events. I had a real good time playing puppy with real puppy, Fred! I'm gonna turn 13 this month and still got to run and play.

More importantly.....it has occurred to me that when I go to Brood events...I GET WET. I love to get wet. My first walk with the she slave was at the Tri-State Freedom Fest back in 2003....I tossed myself into the melting pile of ice and mud.....that was good. The Brood folk understand that some of us houndies live to GET WET. I had so much fun at the Ramble. My slaves were mean and made me wait in the car for a while...till it got good and muddy. Then we got out. wooosdawG Cakie hid under a tent. Not me. I rolled in mud. I splashed in the puddles....I eschewed the tent. Ahhhhhh. Then I got mud all over the car and went to Bonkie's house...where I got a nice hosing outside. Ahhhhhh. Made me think back to the Brood pawty I went to last year where I got to SWIM! I floated in Auntie Diane's pool for like an hour. They gave me a prize for coolest senior hound....but had to bring it to me poolside cause I wasn't getting out to get it! Loved it.

Those Brood folks sure know how to throw a pawty!!
