OK, y'all asked for update on Rosie and her puppes, of the OMBR 24,
and you're getting them in spades!  LOL - here is the first one;
Bonnie is a member of the Drool already, adn she sent this update re:
Lowretta Katherine, who was puppy no. 9.  (I hope the links to the

Lowretta Katherine is the light of our lives. She has the sweetest
soul of any dog I've ever known. Coming from such a "bad" place, we
are grateful and thankful each day for her good health and great
personality.

Lowretta spends her days in pretty high gear, not wanting to miss one
thing that might interest her. From chasing rabbits on our morning
walks to catching turtles and bringing them home, there is never a
dull moment with Lowretta.

We are having a small addition done to a room, and our builders have
fallen in love with her, even though she has stolen quite a few of
their tools when left unattended.

I read that Amber loves socks. Lowretta's fettish is shoes. She has
chewed some pretty expensive shoes. She seems to prefer them over the
cheap ones.

Lowretta loves her brother Stanley. Stanley tolerates her well, and
plays with her a lot, but not near as often as Lowretta wants to. She
also has two cats that she harasses on a daily basis, but who play
with her and snuggle close by when they all fall out from exhaustion.

She is my buddy, she is my light, she is one of the reasons I have
such zest for life. She is by me or with me most of the time. And
she's the perfect bed dog, curling up and sleeping next to me all
through the night.

We are expecting visitors soon. Amber Rose and her mama, Deborah, are
coming all the way from Ohio to celebrate the girls' first birthday
together. We are sooooo excited.

I can't express in words how thankful we are to all those who played a
part in Lowretta's rescue. It was a strange turn of events that
brought her into our home, but I know it was meant to be.

My only regret? That I didn't get two of them when we went to Arkansas!!!!!!
