[Dailydrool] Tonsilitis

Yup, Crazy as it sounds, Mitchell had his tonsils out when I noticed they
were waaaay out of the crypts as he leapt up to grab a ball one day. We did
the antibiotics and when I saw no change on one we had them taken out. It is
a slam-bam-thank-you-ma'm surgery and there was almost no recovery time
involved. By the next day he was eating and barking.
His was the very first tonsillectomy performed by our Vets. I had read that
tonsils that are consistently inflamed occasionally become malignant. Out
those babies came. He is the healthiest dog in the house.
