I am one of the blessed 2 leggers who has very little since of
smell......Honey and Leroy to me smell just fine....now my other 2
legged people in the house would like to challenge me to that
statement. THEY PASS GAS....which sometimes smells...I hear it but
never smell it! When they try to get something off the counter or
stretch to get up on the couch I hear a toot toot......They both eat
California Natural dry and wet food....I mix rice and ground beef or
chicken with it....carrots or what ever veg we have in the house....they
love sweet potatoes.....sometimes I just cook for them...not the two
leggers....but keep the pet food around and mix some in with
it.....Honey is allergic to corn also along with other items.....so even
the cats are on a special diet.....Honey gained 8 lbs....she is 3 years
now and weighed in under 50 lbs a few months ago..weighs in at 58lbs..so
now the vet wants to keep her at under 60....she has a nice waist
line! Honey always hated her bath...which she only gets every 6
mo.....but since I saw the video on the drool of a basset getting a
bath....I saw I was doing it all wrong! NO water in the tub! Just
lots of belly rubs....it worked just fine....they both rolled in
something very messy......black mulch....and needed to be cleaned
up! It went just fine and both dogs even liked it....now if I could
clip her nails too.......the vet had to do it for me when she went
in....I was only successful in clipping 3 out of 10! I'm getting
there though! He always does it for nothing for me and my houndies.
Drools to all in need and glad you guys are around for great advice!
