[Dailydrool] Puppy love...

My Rocky, aka Puddin' Paws, is absolutely a Romeo. His past antics
have included floating over his 4 ft fence as if it wasn't there, in
order to play with a female pit bull running loose in my yard. (She was
being pet-sat by someone in the area, and escaped from him, he recovered
her within the hour) Rick couldn't figure how the Rockster got out, so
he put him back in and watched. About 1 minute later, he just levitated
over the fence again, clearing it by at least a foot. Shocking but
true! Ah, the things boys will do for love...

Another endearing thing is that he is a "gifter". When he is very happy
to see you, he will grab a toy in his mouth, run to you, and
occasionally give it to you. Usually he just shows you his toy and gets
a rub down, then walks away to the next person for praise.

Now that the weather is better and the mosquitoes are not very fierce,
we can leave the back door open. Whoever is being "Special boy", or
"Special girl" that evening gets to run in and out as much as they want
into the fenced portion of the yard. The other day the neighbors Bichon
Tiffany, (bratty little dog who is allowed to run everywhere), was out
barking at my fence. This happens multiple times a day, and has become
something of a game for them all. She runs up to the fence barking,
they run up to the fence barking, everyone has fun for a while, then she
goes home. I have always suspected that Rocky was in love with her, and
now I know it is true. She came up to the fence and Rocky ran into the
house, grabbed the biggest nylabone we have, showed it to both Daddy and
me, then ran outside with it and dropped it at the fence for Tiffany!
This is very funny, because she probably couldn't even get her jaws
around it, let alone carry it! Of course she couldn't reach it because
it was on our side of the fence. So, now it is confirmed that Rocky is
quite a flirt, and he really likes the girls! I guess that I should
have named him Romeo, or Cassinova. He really REALLY likes the girls!

Still laughing,

My passions do not replace my relationship with God, but are instead a
reflection of it!
