Hi all! Lucy the Floozy pawin' in. Sunday afternoon mom & dad decided we were gonna take a trip to Petco. Dad's sister wanted to tag along and bring cousin Mickey the doxie. Well, we walked arouind we sniffed, I tried to steal a pig ear...but I digress...anywhoo, it was all pretty normal, I sniffed at the guinea pig cage, Eddie peed twice, and cousin Mickey got a new harness and collar. On our way back to the BUV, Eddie & cousin Mickey were riding in the cart, and dad had me on lead. Well, parked next to the BUV was a big pick up truck. In the bed of the truck was what mom called a St. Bernanrd. Now I don't know if Bernard was his name or not, but he sure was big. He took one look at my beautimus self, and he couldn't help himself, he had to jump out of the truck and come and meet me. Eddie & Mickey were in the BUV already. Dad yanked on my harness and tried to get me out of Bernard's path, but he was not fast enough. I was nose to nose with Bernard, and I gave him a soft woof, and he slobbered on my head. He was very nice. Dad was afraid that he was gonna eat me or Eddie, but mom just gave him a pat and got him to jump back into his truck (with the help of 2 other people). So, now I thinks I would like me a Bernard, he looked like he would be fun to play with. He looked like a giant basset with short ears. Drool to all in need,Lucy w/ brudder Eddie & da mom slave Jennifer C. P.S. mom slave here, the owners of the St. Bernard also had a lab mix in the truck and a 10 foot python!!!!! That thing was huge. The couple that owned the managerie were in the store and she had the huge reptile draped around her neck and shoulders. Those poor dogs don't stand a chance if that snake gets lose. I like snakes as much as the next person, but would never own anything that big. It could easily eat a hound or child!
