YES,  Onions are bad for your dogs,  there is an enzyme in them  that is 
harmful to their  livers. I am not sure how much they have to  eat  for the damage 
to occur. I would call your vet and ask him.  I  read about  it in the  " 
WHOLE DOG JOURNAL "
