[Dailydrool] Dog Day Afternoon Event

The Vivian F. Bennett Memorial Dog Park in Kernersville, NC, will be having a Dog Day Afternoon event this Saturday, May 17.  It is being held at the Fourth of July Park (on the Bodenhamer side) between 12:00 Noon and 4:00 PM.  There will be vendors, contests with great prizes, and good times.  Admission to the event is FREE!  Kernersville, NC, is a beautiful town located between Greensboro, NC, and Winston-Salem, NC.  They have been working very hard to build an off-leash dog park for the town.  Carolina Basset Hound Rescue will have a booth there with some very gorgeous Bassets that are adoptable and other great Basset goodies for sale.  Kernersville is easily accessible from I-40 East/West.  The directions are listed below.  Please come and join us to see the new dog park and have some fun. Location :  Bodenhamer side of Fourth of July Park  
                702 W.Mountain St. Kernersville,NC

Directions :  I-40 BR toward Winston-Salem 
                  Take the NC-66 exit toward NC- 150/Kernersville
                  Turn LEFT onto NC-66
                  Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto E.Mountain St.for appox. 1.3 miles.
                  Go past the main entrance to the park & take the next RIGHT . 
                  This is the Bodenhamer side of the park.
