[Dailydrool] Ohio's Wet Wet ground

hi all, 
  i know that i dont write often, but have a funny Ziggy thing to tell ya!   Well Ohio has been very very wet.  the backyard is a marsh, pond, swimming pool, you get the picture.  well i let Ziggy out in the backyard last night, he stayed out for quite a while.  when he came in, his front 2 paws were almost black.  somehow he just got them muddy. so i quickly closed the sunroom door so i could clean him up. he would somewhat patiently let me wipe his feet off. when i realized i needed a soapy wet rag instead of a dry towel.  so i went into the bathroom and closed him in the sunroom so i would not have any tracks in the house.  i came back, the DH sitting in the sunroom just let ziggy get up on my recliner chair.   so, i was starting to clean the paws with the soapy rag when ziggy laid his head on my hand.  It was as if to say stop.  i made him lift his head so i could finish, (picture a head leaning on my shoulder) and he kept pulling his paw away and would kick at me as if to say "stop it!"  well all in all i finally got him cleaned up and later discovered i should have cleaned the edge of his ears.  he must have been drinking out of the large puddle on the ground.   well i hope you enjoy his escapade.  i know i dont chime in very much but i read daily and enjoy the stories.
