Hi Everyone,
Daisy and Lilly pawing in from rain, I mean Maine.

With the recent time change, it is dark when we leave for work, and dark
when we get home, the houndage has not had adequate excercise. OH BOY they
both get on leash walks around the one acre that we have, but they are both
young, and have lots of energy to expend. More than us on a rainy day! It
has been raining here for a couple days now, and that makes for even less
time outside. OH BOY! The basset 500, the barking and jumping and
craziness is driving us bonkers! DH had a liver biopsy on Friday, so is
pretty much out of commission. He needs to lay low, and do you think the
bassets want to do that now? Hell no! Run, bark, whine, snort, paw
him...Even the cats are restless. All I want to do is curl up with a book,
read, and listen to it rain.

Mudflaps - Daisy's new nickname. Those ears.......they are mudflaps in this
weather - just an interesting observation.

I wish I could send our rain to the opposite coast for the wildfire
situation out there. We are absolutely drenched. And the doggies, well,
they smell....

To add to that, my son is coming by for a visit today with his girlfriend
and two, yes, two pug pups - they are 9 months old, and have lots of energy
too.

Can I check myself in somewhere for just temporary insality, for an
afternoon?
Just a thought, I love my life.

Snooters and drool to all who need it.
Donna,
Lilly and Daisy's momperson
