Is it all worth it??

 

3 hour of removing top layer of dog hair and house cleaning

$200 in groceries

$15 in Rubbermaid "Take-Alongs" to store left overs

3 hours of pie baking

6 hours of turkey basting

3 hours of other cooking

15 guests

1 hour of eating (MAX!!)

1 hour of cleaning up left overs

1 hour of doing dishes

1 hour of cleaning kitchen

1 hour of cleaning oven

1 load of laundry for table linens and dish towels

1 aching back

5 looks of total adoration as the hounds are given a slice of turkey white
meat (no skin), a spoon of mashed potatoes, a spoon of sweet potatoes, a
spoon of green beans and a spoon of pumpkin

 

Yeah - it was worth it!
