[Dailydrool] Ohio Waddle

Bonnie Bostelman and I attended Ohio Basset Rescue's Waddle this past
weekend and we had a wonderful time.  The hotel was great...free drinks
during cocktail hour...free breakfast including everything you could think
of and the beds were so comfortable I even slept which I almost never really
do in a hotel.   The Waddle/picnic was in an absolutely gorgeous dog park
where they had a large shallow pond where many of the bassets went swimmingl
  Of course, they came out needing a bath but the park had a dog bathing
facility right there.  There were games, raffles, basset crap for sale, food
 costume contest and a Halloween walk where the little bassets could stop at
various stations along the way to get treats.  MBR would love to move that
dog park to Michigan!  
We had a great time and OBR had a very nice turnout.  We got to meet and
greet a lot of wonderful basset folks.
