[Dailydrool] Ear Cleaner

Not all blue power ear treatments have the same cautions in their posts..

The "red inflamed" is misleading. The issue at hand, is that if the dog has
any holes in the ear drum, and the treatment gets through them, one of the
ingredients can severely damage the middle ear!

ANY blue power ear treatment recipe that does not explain about this, is a
bad recipe to show others because of the potential for serious damage. I
can not understand the irresponsibility of some webmasters and web-post-ers
in this regard.

Even in the link that is shared with us... the web site gives us a small
caution, and then a link back to the ORIGINAL postings about it, and at the
top of the original posting is a very stern notice (copied below) about
ruptured eardrums but yet the website didn't bother to put that warning into
their webpage??

How many people would have continued onto that original post link? Why not
just include that same warning? ... I hope no one makes this mistake with
their hounds.. the blue ear power treatment can be a life saver.. but the
ear must be checked first!

Here's the caution from the ORIGINAL recipe.

Caution: please have your veterinarian evaluate your dog's ear drum prior to
treating
the ear problem yourself. Be certain that the ear drum is NOT ruptured, as
there could
be the risk of irreversible deafness or loss of equilibrium. Your vet can
rule out the
presence of tumors or foreign bodies such as foxtails. A microscope smear
would reveal
bacteria, yeast or mites and then a culture and sensitivity test can be
performed.

Please all.. heed the warning ... make sure you know you have no ruptures to
deal with. And send a note to any website owner that you see posting the
blue power ear treatment that doesn't have an appropriate warning.. "red /
inflamed" is certainly not enough..
