   I would suggest "new recipe treat tester," but so many bassets will eat virutally anything, I think they might skew the test results.

   Then again, if a treat company ever wanted to experiment with new and exotic flavors like "TV remote," "dirty sweatsock," "garden rock," "black Prada pumps," "fresh kitchen trash," or (ahem) "recycled kibble," then I think they could do no better than to get bassets as taste testers.
