[Dailydrool] Plastic poop

I regret to say that eating a plastic bag and getting a tummy ache is very unlikely to "teach him a lesson".
Rolph considers plastic bags to be a necessary part of his diet and despite my best efforts manages to steal some from time to time.
Socks too disappear if they are left anywhere he can reach them - and that includes the washing line in the garden.
They all reappear (or at least have done to date), they sometimes cause him a stomach ache, and occaisionaly make him vomit, once or twice he has gone off his meals, but he has NEVER learnt his lesson.
People who don't live with him really don't understand. Take my son. He was here on Saturday. It was hot. He took off his socks and shoes, tucked his socks in his trainers and kept them by his feet. He was told Rolph would steal his socks, but was adament he couldn't as he was "on it".
I went up the road to hire a DVD and when I came back was greeted by the sight of a sock hanging out of Rolph's mouth. I retrieved it and angrily asked where the other one was. My son was SO SURE he couldn't have got it. Of course, I knew better and Rolph presented it to me at 4am this morning.

I suspect you have a gobbler like Rolph. I hope his stomach proves as hardy. And before anyone sends me a flame about "allowing" Rolph to get socks and bags, please understand this is the dog who can open cupboards, fridges, waste bins, laundry bins, locked bins and some drawers. I do everything I can to protect him, but I can't always know what my visitors carry on them.
