as some of you may know, Gus came to me on October 1; he is the first dog
i've ever had. i didn't know what to expect, what to do, what to think.
i've written to the Drool many times, inquiring about all kinds of things.
and day by day, this guy filled my heart more and more, until here we are
today and i can say there is not one thing in the world i wouldn't do for
him.
i look forward to reading every word of the Drool, twice a day. no matter
how busy or rushed i may be at the time, i stop to read every word.
every morning, i read the local newspaper online after the Drool. and of
course, with the newspaper comes the obituaries. can someone explain to me
why i can read the obit for someone, maybe a parent of a school chum, or
maybe even a school chum of 40-50 years ago and i can think of them, remind
myself to tell another friend what i read, and then move on to the next, but
when i read of one of our beloved babies going to the bridge, i cry like a
 baby?
Gus and i send our love and drool to all those who are mourning this
morning. we are all loved in ways by these babies that is inexplicable.
