After yesterday's fiasco, I'm re-thinking letting the beasts run "naked" in
the yard. When they got loose, they had no collars or harnesses on. They're
micro-chipped, but people have to know to take a found dog to have a
micro-chip read. Abigail always had a collar but when she hurt her neck, the
vet said, "Make sure to use only a harness to walk her.a collar/leash
combination will just do more damage". Then, I remember reading here about a
dog who strangled himself because his collar got stuck on something in the
yard and he ended up hanging. So I became "afraid" of collars. Harnesses
don't really work for having ID tags.right? I know this topic has been
discussed before.but will someone please give me pros/cons on this subject
and what works well for them?
