[Dailydrool] Heartworm meds in Canada

Hi Everyone
 
Following the thread on heart-worm meds, Violeta and Xaxa's vet said they do not need to take this med. Only if we happen to go west (B.C, where temperature is way milder than here) we have to give it to them.
Since we haven't traveled there, they remain without this med. I don't know if Xaxa ever had it because I adopted him when he was 7, but Violeta, who I have since she was a little-tiny buppy, never had it.
We are in the city of Calgary, province of Alberta in Canada. I guess our summers are not long enough for anything develop here!
