[Dailydrool] Mitchell

Mitchell is home and other than peeing all the time because of the steroids,
he is doing ok. He does a lot of wobbling and stumbling but he is breathing
and eating and seems happy to be here. It is going to be a long recovery and
I am anxious to get past the steroid stage so that we can not have to go out
ten times during the night. We have special pads over the carpet and an
orthopedic bed for him. We have radiant heat, so the floor is very warm. I
wish the weather were!!!
I want to thank everyone for their concern, support,prayers and drool. So
far so good, but the Drool sure helps. I do not think he will ever be normal
again but he may improve a bit more. Plse excuse typos: I got sent home from
work because i was falling asleep. It is difficult to dry dogs while dozing
off on your feet, but it can be done!!
