[Dailydrool] Rosie to have Surgery

     Went to the Vet for our re-check today and Rosie's ears are GREAT but found that the epulis is still there and needs to come off/out.
 
      Here's a kind of funny thing:  I've been wanting to ask but afraid y'all would think I was crazy,,, "Can Dew Claws grow back?".  Well, today I asked the vet as Rosie has what appears to be a dew claw on her right paw but I know her dew claws were removed prior to us adopting her.  Well, the Vet said he can't believe his missed it but it is NOT a dew claw but instead a "fleshy/boney growth" and that too will have to come off and be sent out to pathology.  By the way, I've now decided never to be afraid to ask a dumb queston!!
   
     So, next Tuesday Rosie goes in for a teeth cleaning, epulis removal and dew claw amputation (that's how the vet is listing in on my piggy bank breaking estimate).  Before I was concerned, but now just plain I'm scared.  
 
     Now we need y'all to please send some more healing, do wonders, Drool Rosie's way.
 
     This Saturday we will be going to the Dog Park to attend the "Pugs & Pooches WinterBreak 2009" which the Basset Rescue of Florida will also be attending.  Rosie will have lots of fun and exercise then home to a good bath and long nap.   As I posted earlier it's being held in West Boca Raton, Florida so if any Droolers want to attend and need directions, just e-mail me and I'll gladly give you directions.  (It's off Glades Road, west of 441 and it's 9am till 4pm).
 
Thanks in advance for any drool that's slung Rosie's way.  I'll update y'all after Rosie's surgeries. :(
