I'm the Drooler who's adopting the Louisville basset. I hadn't planned on it at this time, and had in fact sworn that my next dog would be young, but something about his face reminded me so much of Waldo that I had to take him. I'm getting ready to head to Petsmart right now for a crate, bed, and some toys. I can't wait to meet him!

A Drooler has stepped up and wants to adopt the sad old man in Louisville!  I asked her to name him now so as soon as the shelter is open, we will have him pulled.  He is not listed on the shelter's website as they already decided he was a dog nobody would want, so when we call, we will say that he IS wanted and they can tell him, "Basil, you're going HOME."
