[Dailydrool] Making plans for our furkidz

I know that we have discussed this before but I thought it was worth mentioning once again.  Please if you have not made arrangements for your furbabies in the event that something would happen to you, please do.  Luckily for me my daughter will take mine.  Maybe it has to do with her getting the house, insurance, etc. but then again it could be that she just loves furkidz.  

The reason that I want to remind everyone is I learned today that a fellow drool slave and friend from another list I am on passed away last month.  We became good friends and I was worried when I hadn't heard from her in over a  month. Luckily I was able to get in touch with her Aunt and received the news.  After getting over the initial shock my thoughts went to Isabella the little red and white basset that she adored.  I learned Izzy was taken to the local shelter and my heart dropped even further.  It took two phone calls but I finally convinced the employee to tell me the status of Izzy.  Luckily because Charlene had adopted her from a rescue she was returned to them.  I spoke with them today and Izzy was adopted 2 days ago by a wonderful family.  I did leave all my info with the rescue just in case Izzy is returned.  They are aware I am willing to take her in and pay to get her from Missouri to California.  I told them that Izzy
 is a part of my extended family just as Charlene was.

Luckily as it is right now Izzy has a home and there is a happy ending  even though there is sadness over the loss of my friend.  I know Charlene is smiling down on us and at peace.
