[Dailydrool] Basset splinters

OK. This is one of those slightly mad questions. . .

Does anyone else get basset hair splinters in their feet? Three times now I have been hobbling around thinking I have a splinter, only to find it is one of Clara's hairs that has worked its way into the sole of my foot.

I know they are Clara's as they are too short for Rolph.
