Our Zeke Claude Von Dog will fetch maybe two times and then after that will give the LOOK as if to say "Go get it yourself" I think Crazy Basset Lady Becky nailed it when she said that bassets have no prey instinct or drive. Although there are probably exceptions....like when chipmunks or rabbits come into view. LOL  Debbie and the Masterpiece Bassets
