[Dailydrool] Garbage Breath

Hi All,
I noticed a few posts about basset odor. Our Cassie is getting older, and I really don't know if that is a factor, or maybe the food she has been eating all of her life, 9yrs, may have to do with it either, but lately she has been having some really bad breath. At first we did not know where the smell was coming from, and with her having surgery we thought it may be a passing thing. When she had her surgery I also had her teeth cleaned, but her breath is just like a garbage pail that has been sitting for weeks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
