[Dailydrool] Injured basset flown for surgery by CBHR

Hi everyone,
 
     Carolina Basset Hound Rescue has had their first  aerial rescue of a 
badly injured little basset named Twinkle Toes. She was  apparently hit by a car 
and set to be euthanized by shelter workers but they  just couldn't do it and 
called CBHR to the rescue. One of our wonderful  volunteers, Ted Holstein, 
came to the rescue and flew his private plane, "Hound  Dog One" from Hilton Head, 
S.C. to Hertford, N.C. and picked up Miss Twinkles  and flew her back to 
Charleston, S.C. for medical treatment and surgery. She is  in our loving care and 
safe from harm. She made the local news and everyone  fell in love with her.

She is so thin, this will make you cry. She has an ACL injury and a  possible 
fractured pelvis. Please send all the healing drool you can spare for  little 
Miss Twinkle Toes.
