[Dailydrool] Roaming Bassets...........

I can understand about Bassets, I came home the other night & pulled in the driveway & then forgot to close the drive thru gate, went in the house, started watching TV, and in the meantime my Significant other headed to bed after letting the girls out for their nightly rounds, well, they made the rounds longer than normal,  I got a call about a ½ hr later saying my Babies were at the Jack in the Box (Like McDonalds) , I immediately got in the car to go get them, this Burger Joint is 0.6 miles from my house, thankfully the nice lady called me & let me know that they had Strayed,  All was well, I took them home, remembering that there is no end to their sense of smell, & also that I needed to show more care about the gate  :)
