[Dailydrool] Tears for Harvey

Hi Melissa and Jo,
 
       I am so sorry this happened to you and  Harvey. Our Sweet Bubba was 
fine one day and then the next day he started  vomiting. He had surgery two 
years before for liver cancer so we panicked when  this happened. I knew in my 
heart that the cancer was back but we never dreamed  how bad it was. He had a 
huge mass in his stomach that had to be very  painful....... he never let us know 
he was in pain. The sudden diagnosis was  devastating and the vet told us the 
vomiting would only get worse because of the  tumor. Sweet Bubba looked up at 
me and said he was tired and ready to go. We  made the hardest decision of 
our lives and let him go. One day we had a happy  dog and the next day, we had 
to let him go. The shock was unbearable. 
 
     You will know when it is time and my heart  feels for you. I still miss 
my Sweet Bubba and it has been two years. We have  three rescued bassets now 
and a foster, but I still find myself calling one of  them Bubba. We are 
sending gentle hugs and snooter kisses to all of you although  nothing will make you 
feel better right now. Again, I am so sorry.
