We are sending drool for the people of Teeka, Ellie, and Oatmeal. No matter how long they love us it is never long enough.

We tried the Newman's Own dogfood but it is the only one we have bought that they will not eat a bite of. None of them liked it and I don't know why. The partial bag is sitting in the kitchen taking up space. These dogs like to eat so I don't understand.

We are also sending drool for Conley's nose bump. We hope it heals fast and without a scar. Brudder Elwood, we hope your (or your slaves') ordeal is soon a thing of the past. And please don't eat any more unfriendly objects.

We have been feeding the kitties on the table to keep them out of the way of the dogs. Worked well for the cats, not for us. We moved them back to the file cabinet where they had eaten when they were younger. They don't fit. Only one can eat at a time. And some enterprising bassets have figured out that they don't have to put out much effort to score a cat dinner. We are looking for another place to feed some kitties. No one is starving but the doggies really like kitty food. They really like most food. Especially if it belongs to someone other than them.

Right now Maggie is begging for Nic's dinner which is too spicy for anyone with a tongue. She doesn't know any better. Boyslaves do. At least she sleeps with him.

Today is our thirtieth anniversary. It just doesn't seem possible. We have had bassets for twenty six of those years. Longer than our kids have been around. We loved our first two girls and will continue to love whatever short slobbery creatures come our way. Yesterday we put the oldest boyslave on a plane for Australia to go to school for a year. That is why his kitties are here. Life is never dull. Sometimes I wish it would be calmer.

Drool to all who need it. We have lots. I got out cheese earlier and Maggie made a puddle.
