Whenever Annabelle or a foster used to do this, we could almost always
trace it to an upset tummy.  Maybe you could try giving her a Prilosec
(generic name:  Omeprazole) every evening after supper?  They last 24
hours, and are anti-gas and anti-heartburn.

Other than that, the other possibilities I can think of are:  onset of
canine Alzheimer's, low thyroid levels.  Couldn't hurt to get her
thyroid levels checked.
