[Dailydrool] Newborn puppy ears

I have never seen a newborn full blooded basset puppy, and I was wondering if their ears are long when they are born. One of CBHR's fosters just had puppies, and we don't know what the father is. I was just wondering if the ears get long later - this litter's ears are all short. But, they are still extremely cute!
