[Dailydrool] Nellie ATB

A year ago today, one week after returning from our marathon vacation tour of AR, TX and MO, we lost our 14+ yr old girl Nellie Marie.  She had near bloat the day before we were to head off on our journey and I couldn't leave her here, so she had to go on vacation with us.  Wasn't exactly my idea of a good time as it severely limited what we could do and where we could stay, but we had no choice.  Nellie was a traveling girl, having been found stray in Missouri in 1995 and adopted by us (along with her Sammy, who went to the Bridge in 2003), and subsequently moved to Kentucky, California, Texas and back to Kentucky again.  We not only went back and saw our old house in Missouri, but we drove out to the home of the people who had kept Nellie and Sammy when they were found.  So, one last time I got to take my old girl home.  She bloated a year ago today and we had to send her to the Bridge.  I miss my old girl.
