[Dailydrool] Basset &/or Dog Events in or near New York City

I just joined the Daily Drool. I'm wondering if there are any Basset events in NYC or Westchester (where Sadie & I are vacationing for the summer). We'd prefer to to connect with other sad-faced, floppy-eared, flabby-necked, fat-footed friends - but general dog events are ok too. Thank you!
