[Dailydrool] Growling in sleep...

I had never heard this before until last night!  Leo was sleeping with
us, as is his wont these days, and he woke me up in the middle of the
night with a little growl and 3 whimpers, over and over for about 30
seconds.  It frightened me until I recalled reading the thread about
this on the Drool!  I had seen the twitching before, of course, but the
growling and little "arf, arf's" threw me.  Now, my question is...Philip
insists that animals are sentient beings, and I admit that we
anthropomorphize ours constantly;).  Other's disagree...but, then...how
can they "dream" if they are not capable of thought?!

Mary, Harley, Biggs and Leo (who really are little people in fur suits:)
and the kitties (I KNOW they plot revenge;)
