Yes. I use it and that is what I use it for. It is nasty nasty nasty nasty tasting. Don't get it in their mouths or eyes, or yours. Nasty nasty. I have used it on Cooper who is chewing a hole in his leg near the armpit, may use it on Conley who is doing the same on himself. 



It does work, and it does keep them from chewing. I usually put a little cortinsone ointment on the raw spot first because it stops the itching,and then spray. It may sting a little.
