[Dailydrool] Buford--the boy is back!!!

Update to all who care so much about bassets and of course, the OEBE  
Garbagemesiter himself--Buford:

1)  no cancer--anywhere!
2)  esophagus brutally scarred by years of acid reflux;
3)  intestines inflammed from one end to the other.

Diagnosis:   IBD---Irritable Bowel Disease.

Switched food to Hills Prescription D/D; added Metronidazole (250mg)  
2x per day; still taking Metocopramide, Carafate and Prilosec (yes,  
Prilosec!) as previously prescribed.....plus his Cushings medication  
and his heart medication.

Result:  after the VERY FIRST meal on the D/D food and adding the  
Metronidazole pill----BUFORD WAS BACK TO NORMAL!!!!!  (ok, the use of  
the word "normal" is to be taken in context of Buford, but still!)    
Very little to **NO** bloat symptoms; just a little restlessness  
after each meal---the boy suppresses his burps, heck, **I** would be  
uncomfortable and restless if I didn't let it rip after a good meal!

He is have (sorry--here comes a bit TMI) perfect bowel movements for  
the FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE!

This is going to be a life-long management for him now, but I have a  
feeling that his life just may have gained a whole lot more time and  
quality.  Thank you to EVERYONE who emailed on/off list; Drool to  
those in dire straits---it really does work my friends!  Snooters to  
everyone.
