I forgot - my two take their morning pills in peanut butter, they love that,
and at night they get their pills in a marshmallow. Even Holly the Princess
Picky-Butt likes marshmallows. My sister is the one who told me about
marshmallows.

Subject: [Dailydrool] liver support

Ms.Brandy has had a known tumor on her liver for about 9 years. I was told
it was a fatty tumor and not to worry about it. 5 years ago it got bigger-
and is getting bigger all the time. Vet said 'let me open her up or let her
go- she doesn't have long'.
I did neither. We have auntie Sandy after all and trust her knowledge of
homepathic meds a lot! Not that we do not use regular meds - so to speak- as
well. She takes Milk Thistle for liver support. Among other things she also
takes Turmeric - can't remember if that is specific for Liver support. Also-
after another drooler shared it with me- she takes Mushroom Optimizer ( 3 a
day). This supports the immune system as well as helps energy level. I can't
say enough good about this stuff. All the supplements I mentioned come from
Jarrow Formulas. However if you check on amazon.com you can find great
deals. You still get the same product but for a lot less! I also buy some
things ( like fish oil and garlic, B12, L-glutamine) at Puritan's Pride.
They frequently have buy 2 get 3 free or vice versa sales. That is when I
stock up. None of these are very pricey. I think I spend about $75 a month
on all the homepathic meds I buy and that is for two bassets and a wide
variety of pills.
Having said all that- she has not taken most of her pills in days as she now
flat out refuses to touch cream cheese or liversausage... I try to sneak
them in 'shared bites' ( stuff I'm eating)~ she is very good at finding them
and spitting them out.
