[Dailydrool] FHO Procedure on Bassets

Has anyone heard of a FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery being done a basset hound?  
 
My lab Lenny had FHO surgery when he was 1 years old.  It worked wonderfully for him.
 
I was just curious about basset hounds.
